Sentinel’s newest venture, Sentinel Facilities Management (SFM), continues to grow rapidly with new government, commercial and private clients. The SFM team is now providing services for Defence Housing Australia properties, and Department of Veteran Affairs clients. They continue to provide services to the US Embassy in Canberra’s diplomatic residences and continue to support Community Options and Focus ACT (both NDIS providers) to ensure residents are in comfortable and safe accommodation. And with a wet spring upon us, SFM’s long list of private clients is also growing.

The team recently completed driveway remediation works on behalf of our partner and local NDIS service provider Focus ACT. The area was becoming muddy, slippery and dangerous after rain. The works involved the restoration of surface areas and included:

  • laying turf in between and next to the concrete driveway,
  • top dressing, seeding and laying of erosion matting on the adjacent lawned area,
  • installing an exclusion zone around turfed area on adjacent lawned area,
  • trimming of the adjacent hedge to allow staff and residents to comfortably alight from vehicles

This work completely transformed the area aesthetically and, as importantly, will provide safe access to the house for both the visiting staff and the residents living at the premises.
